Staff Training Week - Day 1 
Trebuchet & Axe Throwing.  We introduced a couple of new activities last year to expand our ‘outreach / onsite’ offer. 
We hope the Trebuchet will become a popular addition with our groups, now that more staff have become familiar with operating it.  For schools, when combined with archery and bushcraft the curriculum can be brought to life 🛡️🏹

The best learning is driven by curiosity.  We began working with this lad about 18 months ago. 
His Local Education Authority have decided to invest in an activity he is interested in, and engaged with.  We might not be able to give academic grades but we can help with ethical responsibility, independent thinking and social awareness.  This is exactly what our Youth Services used to do before they defunded them.

Another day delivering life lessons for our learners in alternative provision. Today was about taking positive risks. A positive risk is something that will promote personal growth by expanding comfort zones and building up resilience in order to cope with the day to day difficulties … they used to call it “Character Building” when I was a lad!!
