Grindleford Adventure Day

The Situation

This event offers an exciting mix of exploration, climbing, abseiling and group challenges set in one of Derbyshire’s most scenic areas.

Teams will journey around dramatic gritstone edges, wooded hillsides, and walk alongside Padley Gorge near the village of Grindleford, this adventure day offers something for everyone — from first-time climbers to seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

Led by our expert instructors, you’ll take part in a range of adventurous activities that may include abseiling, rock climbing, zip lining, team challenges and navigating.

Each session is carefully tailored to your group’s ability and comfort level, ensuring a safe, supportive, and exciting experience for all.

Between the activity locations, there’s plenty of time to soak in the views across the Derwent and Hope Valleys.
