Our work with educational groups, youth charities and badged youth organisations has made up the highest percentage share of our work since 1999.

Authentic Adventure Activities

We specialise in offering authentic adventure activities for schools using the spectacular natural environments of our National Parks. There is also a mobile activity service that can be delivered on school grounds or a convenient location to you.

Whether you are looking to accelerate social processes at the beginning of a school term (transition), develop or improve key team working skills, reward good attendance or simply to enable your group the opportunity to experience new and exciting adventurous activities, we will ensure that your course aims are mapped across into the delivery and then highlighted in review.

Organisational Quality

The AALS licence (R1224), the Learning Outside the Classroom and Adventure Mark are all held by Acclimbatize. These are HSE’s statutory regulations and the adventure industry’s (non regulatory) standard for organisational quality. These 3 indicators are intended to assure trip organisers and visits co-ordinators of the highest standards of safety and operational management.

Furthermore – all relevant operating procedures, risk assessments, staff qualifications and safeguarding documentation are available to party leaders. At Acclimbatize our aim is to make booking with us as hassle free as possible. Adventure Activities for Schools are underpinned by AALA licence and the Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Award.

Create a Bespoke Activity Event

Simply choose your selection of component parts from our wide range of activities. Your selected activities will then be incorporated into your event – applying an appropriate scenario or theme around the tasks you have selected may add a dynamic dimension and help cement your event together.

We ensure our events are fully engaging and inclusive of all abilities – we do this by deliberately factoring in a variety of roles on all tasks in accordance with our ‘Challenge by Choice’ ethos.
