Being a client focussed organisation we distinguish between the specific needs of each individual group by taking into consideration any educational aims or the sporting objectives of the organising staff.
We appoint staff (instructors) to our groups based on skill sets, experience, interpersonal skills and status. Our services fall into four categories, these distinctions have been identified to aid organisers at the course planning stage.
These are adventurous activities used as a life enriching experience or recreational opportunity. Delivery style is relaxed but action centered. The focus is on maximum participation and enjoyment. Sessions are progressively structured, informative and pitched at a level, which matches the abilities and aspirations of the individual or group taking into account any previous experience.
These are activities, which are used as component parts in a broader programme of learning. The activities may be used to improve levels of confidence, increase motivation, raise levels of attainment, develop team working skills, improve communication, establish trust between team members and accelerate socialisation. Essentially we are using experiential learning as a tool for transferring the learning into real time life skills. We use established theoretical models in both briefing and review to drive the learning behind the activity.
We specialise in organising adventurous “challenge events” for a broad range of working teams, educational establishments and social groups including stag and hen parties.
From simple cyclic 'Plan, Do and Review' (Kolb) team tasks used as conference energisers, through to adventurous competitions, themed treasure hunts and charity fundraisers (sponsored abseils etc).
Acclimbatize frequently work in partnership with other event organisers and training organisations to provide expertise, equipment, event components or safety staff.
