Prices are given in divisions of up to 8 participants to 1 instructor.
Groups of 9 up to a maximum of 11 participants are supported by a competent assistant.
Groups of 12 + with 2 qualified Instructors.
Typical duration of full days is 7 hours and part days 3.5 hours.
For skills aquisition courses and private guiding activities, the intensity of activity or training usually keeps ratios at 4 participants to 1 instructor or below.
Groups on recreational activities are usually 5 and above.
The planning and delivery of complex team building events requires a good amount of hidden work time spent in preparation. Quotes for more specialist styles of delivery and bespoke programme design can be negotiated with clients prior to payment.

Discounted Rates for Schools and Youth Groups
Full Day - Youth organisations and Schools
Schools and Youth organisations typically have to send cheques, raise purchase orders or pay by BACs (automated credit transfer). Customers can pay by card by telephoning our office.
Typical duration is 7 hours - days can include 2 activities e.g. team building and rock climbing
Up to 6 persons £180 or £30 per participant
Add £28.50 per person for groups of 7 to 11. Groups of 9 to 11 are supported by a competent assistant after which prices return to multiples of 6 with 2 qualified staff.
Youth groups of up to 6 people £180 plus VAT - includes 1 free leader place
Part Day - Youth Organisations
Typical duration of 3.5 hours
Groups up to 6 people £150 plus VAT
Add £15 per person for groups of 7 to a maximum of 11. Groups of 9 to 11 are supported by a competent assistant after which prices return to multiples of 6 with 2 qualified staff.

Terms & Conditions
Before making any booking we recommend you contact Acclimbatize to discuss your requirements.
1.1 The proposed programme of activities will be confirmed by receipt of a completed booking form either by e-mail or post. Not by telephone
1.2 Places can only be reserved by paying a deposit / booking fee. The amount will be agreed in advance which may be paid by direct credit / electronic banking (BACS) or by cheques payable to Acclimbatize. Please ask for account information if choosing to pay by direct credit method. Notification of payment will be made by telephone or e-mail.
1.3 The balance of the fees are payable at latest on the day of the activity for private tuition, guidance, NGB courses. Larger organisations may be invoiced against a purchase order or by arrangement giving 14 days from the completion of the course to pay the outstanding balance. Purchase orders should arrive before the start of the course.
1.4 Outdoor activities are inherently dangerous and the risk of serious injury or death cannot be completely eliminated. Acclimbatize takes every care to ensure the safety of both clients and staff and to minimise risk. Acclimbatize has an excellent safety record; however participants should be aware of the risks involved and should take responsibility for their own actions.
1.5 Acclimbatize will not take responsibility for any uninsured losses or damage to property.
Cancellation by clients,
2.1 All cancellations must be made in writing.
2.2 Cancellations more than 2 months prior to the start of the activity will receive a full refund. In the event of cancellation less than 2 months before the start date, Acclimbatize will try to resell the dates and allocate tutors alternative work and refund any deposit less admin cost. £15
2.3 In the event of Acclimbatize not being able to resell the dates or re allocate work to tutors the deposit will be retained.
2.4 Under certain circumstances dates may be changed and deposits or full payments may be held in credit in respect of future alternative dates.
2.5 A postponement is ultimately a cancellation and a re-booking.
Cancellation by Acclimbatize.
In the unlikely event of this occurring we will:
3.1 Offer a total refund of any monies paid.
3.2 Offer alternative dates.
3.3 Make arrangements with another provider on your behalf.
We reserve the right to either cancel outright or remove individuals from any course at any time due to inappropriate behaviour, suspicion of participants being under the influence of alcohol or drugs, lack of suitable clothing, uncompleted consent forms or lack of group supervision by accompanying staff.
Deliberate misuse & Neglect of equipment
Any losses or damage caused to equipment by the wilful actions of an individual will be invoiced to the body or organisation booking activities on that persons behalf.
Exceptional circumstances
In circumstances where cancellation may be necessary such as extreme weather conditions, flooding effecting caves and potholes, rivers rising, fire risk on moorland areas or access restrictions placed on the public such as foot and mouth in 2001. Or industrial action effecting flights and ferries for overseas expeditions a fair solution will be agreed between parties. Personal insurance against cancellation is recommended.

• We employ only highly qualified leaders & instructors with first aid qualifications and police screening.
• Modern equipment, which is maintained and updated to British & European standards.
• Personal clothing and footwear including climbing shoes and wellington boots are available.
• Acclimbatize offers its equipment base as a briefing and changing facility.
Additional Costs
Use of private facilities & additional hire or access will be passed on at cost unless agreed with course leader e.g.
Ropes courses, Launch Fees, Climbing Walls, Canoe hire, Cycle hire, Mini bus etc.
NB Courses, which require more detailed planning, will be quoted for on an individual basis.
