For the Best in Caving you need to try Acclimbatize! We offer professional quality individual training & group tuition. As well as Caving we offer a wide range of other outdoor activities including: rock climbing, abseiling, canoeing and hill walking.



We are situated in Derbyshire and the Peak District National Park, within easy access to some of the country’s best-known caving areas; moor lands, crags and potholes. This is the perfect place to come whether you’re a beginner or the more ambitious caver, offering Introductory courses to Overseas Expeditions & Leadership Awards for the National Governing Body.

'Level 1' is in predominantly horizontal systems with trips suitable for all ages and abilities. We start the day with a look at guides & surveys then equip you with helmets, lamps, oversuit and boots before setting off caving to explore a variety of passages under expert instruction.



Once you have built up your caving skills we can offer more challenging caves, with the use of abseil descent underground!

Our Classic caving is designed for cavers looking to get down some major systems. As with all our caving expeditions we will provide informal but practical teaching.

We even offer expeditions overseas from Spain and France. Visiting probably the Mecca of alpine caving – the French Alps.

Any specific areas of caving training are available upon request.
