Duke of Edinburgh Expedition packages  
At Acclimbatize we take the position that the this award scheme offers the perfect platform to transfer experiential learning in to real time life skills. 

Acclimbatize offer D of E expedition packages specifically designed to equip your group with the knowledge and confidence to safely stride out into all wilderness areas of Britain and beyond.
Acclimbatize staff  have been involved not only in the D of E expeditions section, but also in the training and assessment of outdoor leadership awards since 1999.
Our team of professionally qualified Mountaineering Instructors, International Mountain Leaders and experienced mountain leaders will ensure your training is team focussed, pitched at the correct level and effectively structured. We will ensure your practice and final expeditions get off on a safe and successful footing. 

Qualified 'Staff Only' for hire.
Keep your expedition costs down!
D of E guidlines enable our assessors to qualify up to 4 separate expeditions simultaneously. Expedition group size can be a maximum of 7. (28 participants maximum)
We offer organisations and DLCs (Directly Licensed Centres) a special 'staff only' rate for this service.
Our daily rate is between £220 and £260 depending on complexity. These costs include 7% commision to D of E HQ at Windsor.
For areas outside the Peak District we also request  for reasonable contribution towards the assessors expenses.

Bronze Expedition Packages.
Expedition packages from £35 per person per day inclusive of vat. Minimum group size 6.
5 day expedition packages from £175 per person (Peak District Based) Includes:
 1 day of structured training at a location convenient to your team. Option for 3 X 2 hour sessions locally.
 2 days practice expedition
 2 days final expedition

Silver Expedition Packages. Tailor made training and skills refrehers from £35 per person per day. Targeted training aimed at topping up the foundation skills aquired at Bronze, developing and refining them to aid achieving the Silver Award. Minimum number is 6 persons per group.

Gold Award Acclimbatize staff are available to support your UK and overseas mountain expeditions in any seasonal or climatic conditions. We can supply qualified professionals to lead parties within the UK, on high altitude treks and on mountainous expeditions world-wide.

Remote Supervision
Striking the right balance between independence and safety can be a difficult judgement call even with a recognised qualification!  How do you determine what is an appropriate level of supervision?  Why not talk to us about remote support for your expedition.  We would be happy to help with risk assessments, identification of hazards, technical skills input, isolating difficult navigational decisions and a range of other methods to ensure your expedition gets off on the good foot.

Acclimbatize is licensed with the adventure activities licensing authority to provide activities under the following headings: Rock Climbing, Abseiling, Caving, Mine Exploration, Canoeing, Kayaking, Improvised Rafting, Hill Walking and Mountaineering.
